Dance Dance Revolution, released in Europe as Dance Dance Revolution: Hottest Party 4 for the Wii version and Dance Dance Revolution: New Moves for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions, is a music video game in the Dance Dance Revolution series developed by Konami. Unveiled at E3 2010, it was released for the Wii and PlayStation 3 in North America on November 16, 2010. It was also released for the Xbox 360 on April 12, 2011. It is the fourth game in the Hottest Party series and the 4th main DDR Wii game (besides Disney Grooves and Winx Club, the latter of which was released only in Europe).

Styles[]

  • Single - For 1 player. Normal gameplay.
  • Friendship - For 2 or more players. For 2 or more players. The highest judgement in the group for each arrow is awarded to all players.
  • Sync - For 2 or more players. Group judgement is based on the lowest accuracy. A "MISS" or "NOT QUITE" score will fail the game!
  • Family (exclusive to this game; replaces Multi Style from previous games) - In this style, 2 or more players split the left and right notes between themselves. Help each other out!

At 8 stages, this game has the least amount of stages, and none of the stages from HOTTEST PARTY 3 return, likely due to software limitations. All of the stages are in order which as follows below:

Trivia[]

  • This game is the first game to not be released in Japan.
    • It was intended to be released in Japan exclusively for the PlayStation 3 under its European name New Moves, but it never materialized and it was ultimately canceled.
  • This game marks the first complete absence of original characters, main and back dancers Domi, Gaku, Danca, Pia, Gliss, Forte and Sharp, all who did not return from the previous game.
